To strengthen communication and cooperation among deep-processing glass enterprises and enhance the overall competitiveness of the industry, a training and exchange meeting was held on December 12th, 2024, at the Shanli Business Building in Dongguan City, organized by the Guangdong Provincial Glass Industry Association. The meeting aimed to exchange the operating conditions of various enterprises in 2023, analyze and judge the market trend in 2024, and jointly discuss and plan the work for the beginning of the Year of the Dragon.

The meeting invited representatives from deep-processing glass enterprises in Shenzhen, Dongguan, and Huizhou, experts and scholars, and government officials. Representatives from leading enterprises such as South Glass, Xinyi, Taiwan Glass, and Qibin attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Chen Lin, Secretary-General of the Guangdong Provincial Glass Industry Association. Mr. Luo Weixiong, Chairman of Dongguan Shanli Polymer Materials Research Co., Ltd., delivered an enthusiastic opening speech, extending a warm welcome to the representatives and expressing gratitude for their contributions to the industry's development over the past year. Director Shi Lijun of the Mayong Town Economic Development Bureau delivered a speech, introducing the economic development of Mayong Town in 2023 and giving full affirmation to the development of Shanli Company. He expressed positive affirmation of the achievements of the Guangdong Provincial Glass Industry Association and deep-processing glass enterprises, hoping that the industry association and various enterprises would adhere to the principle of "firm confidence, upholding the right and innovating," accelerate the promotion of iterative understanding, boldly explore, actively innovate, deepen cooperation, and jointly seek development to make greater contributions to the economic development of Shenzhen, Dongguan, and Huizhou. Chen Lin, Secretary-General of the Guangdong Provincial Deep-Processing Glass Association, pointed out at the meeting that the industry association has been committed to building a high-quality, full-industry chain cluster for deep-processed glass, guiding the coordinated development of upstream and downstream supporting enterprises in the supply chain, and building a comprehensive, multi-layered, and three-dimensional platform for communication and cooperation to provide a good foundation for the healthier and faster development of deep-processed glass enterprises.




At the training and exchange meeting, experts gave special lectures on topics such as "Special Lecture on Accounts Receivable for Building Materials Enterprises," "Green Certification and Six-in-One Integrated Operation for Deep-Processed Glass Enterprises," "How Deep-Processed Glass Enterprises Can Develop Patents and Innovation," and "Selection of High-Quality Building Sealants for Deep-Processed Glass Enterprises."





Next, the representatives held enthusiastic exchanges on the operating conditions of enterprises in 2023. Many expressed that although they were affected by multiple unfavorable factors in the broader environment, through their own efforts and the joint efforts of the industry, the deep-processing glass industry achieved good development results in 2023. At the same time, they also conducted in-depth discussions on the problems and difficulties encountered in their operations, sharing experiences and methods for solving problems.


In the segment analyzing and judging the market trend in 2024, experts and scholars predicted the development of the deep-processing glass industry in 2024, combining domestic and international economic conditions, policy environment, and industry development trends. It was generally believed that with the gradual recovery of the domestic and international economies, the deep-processing glass industry will usher in new development opportunities. However, at the same time, industry competition will become more intense, and enterprises need to continuously improve their core competitiveness to meet market challenges.


Finally, the representatives jointly discussed and planned the work for the beginning of the Year of the Dragon. It was unanimously agreed that it is necessary to firmly grasp the opportunities for industry development, strengthen technological innovation, improve product quality, expand market channels, improve service levels, and strive to achieve high-quality development of the industry. At the same time, it is necessary to strengthen communication and cooperation within the industry, jointly cope with market competition, and promote the sustainable development of the deep-processing glass industry.
