On April 20, Dongguan Shanli Polymer Materials Research Co., Ltd. and the Guangdong University of Technology research team held a "production-academia-research" cooperation signing ceremony in Mayong. Achieving precise docking between university research and enterprise production, providing research application scenarios for scientific research, helping enterprises solve "bottleneck" technological problems, and promoting high-quality development of enterprises.

One of the projects jointly established by Shanli Company and the Guangdong University of Technology research team under the production-academia-research cooperation is: solvent-free epoxy fire-retardant coating. The market size exceeds 1 billion yuan. After the successful research and development and production of the product, it can break through the technological barriers of similar foreign products and can be widely used in the field of new energy vehicle batteries. While supporting the Dongguan Ganfeng project, it also radiates to new energy vehicle battery manufacturers nationwide, including large customers such as BYD, CATL, and China Aviation Lithium Battery. This will bring tax revenue to Mayong while creating more jobs! This production-academia-research cooperation model promotes scientific and technological research and development and the transformation of achievements, continuously improving the collaborative innovation mechanism of "enterprises setting questions, universities solving questions, and governments assisting questions", taking the needs of enterprises and the market as the main body, giving full play to the scientific research strength of universities, and providing scientific and technological support for enterprises and the high-quality development of Mayong's economy.
